Dr. Finns Games: Who We Are
Doctor Finn's Games is a self-publishing game house that also offers design and printing services. Dr Finn's games is also Steve Finn and Damon S. Brown.
The doctor in the title refers to Steve's Ph.D. in Philosophy. The company was started in 2004 when Steve tried to find a manufacturer of custom cards for a game he created but he couldn't find anyone who would print a small run at reasonable rates. After some trial and error, he developed a printing process that worked so well he started offering the custom card service to others. Doctor Finn's Games have made over 5,000 decks of cards with an outstanding satisfaction level. In 2007 Steve started to offer customized board games to his services and he returned to his passion of making strategy games of his own with Slush Fund, Scripts and Scribes and later Chareteer.
Damon S. Brown loves a good game and has been lucky to work on quite a few. His clients include Cranium, Hasbro, and WOTC. He designed a line of games for Simply Fun as well, including Simply Catan. Damon is excited about the possibilities of self-published games and enjoys the creative challenge of making games that play well, look great and cost less! (link to Damon's Web site)
